Idris Elba is King of the Jungle in 'Beast'. This Leading Man is Raising the Bar

The star of The Harder They Fall, and Suicide Squad finds himself in a precarious situation in the new Universal Pictures film, Beast.

The film stars Idris Elba, Sharlto Copley (Rusian Doll series, Maleficent), Iyana Halley (The Hate U Give, This is Us series), and Leah Sava Jeffries (Rel series, Empire series) and is about a father and his two daughters who become the prey of a lion in the middle of the savannah.

Elba is Dr. Nate Daniels, who travels to South Africa to a game reserve with his daughters (Iyana Halley and Leah Sava Jeffries) as part of a pre-planned trip. What starts out as a therapeutic and relaxing getaway quickly becomes a fight to survive as Elba battles a ferocious lion that is bent on absolute carnage.

Will Packer (Girls Trip and Ride Along) produces and Baltasar Kormákur (Everest and 2 Guns and Contraband) directs this thriller that is sure to have women everywhere wanting a man that can fight off a killer apex predator.
